AI Policy.

Our Privacy-First AI Stance

We do not use any AI service providers that develop or train their own models. The only exception is Zoho, our primary technology partner, whose AI offerings operate within our contracted environment.

We take privacy very seriously — for both our own data and our clients'. By deliberately avoiding providers that build and train their own models, we significantly reduce the risk that your prompted data, documents, or code is used to train third-party models or accessed outside of your organization without your authorization.

In short: the AI tools we use process your inputs to produce an output for us, but they do not learn from them and do not expose them to anyone outside our engagement.

When local models are not practical, we select providers that demonstrably value privacy and operate under strict no-log policies, meaning your prompts and data are not retained or used beyond producing the requested output.

Whenever feasible, we also prefer to run AI models locally on our own infrastructure so that client data never leaves our controlled environment at all.

Authorization to Use Client Data and Code

By engaging Caret Growth Strategies under a service agreement, the client authorizes us to use the data, documentation, access credentials, and code provided to us as required to meet the agreed-upon scope of work. This includes, without limitation, processing that information through the AI-assisted tools described in this policy to research, design, build, test, troubleshoot, and deliver the contracted services.

We treat the use of AI on client data as a serious responsibility. Every effort is made to use vetted providers, limit exposure of sensitive information, and review outputs before they are acted upon or shared.

Use of client data and code is limited to fulfilling the requirements of the active engagement. We do not use client information for marketing, case studies, or any purpose unrelated to the services you have retained us to perform without your prior written approval.

Use of AI in Our Internal Workflows

We reserve the right to use AI tools to assist our own internal workflows in the course of delivering services to you. Examples of these workflows include, but are not limited to:

  • Summarizing meetings, calls, and correspondence with your team.
  • Generating action items, follow-ups, internal notes, and project status updates.
  • Drafting client-facing materials such as diagrams, lists, design mockups, technical documentation, training content, and proposals.
  • Researching solutions, drafting code, and reviewing or refactoring existing code.
  • Any other internal productivity task that involves client information as part of normal service delivery.

All such use is governed by the provider restrictions described at the top of this policy.

Risk and Responsibility

While Caret Growth Strategies takes every reasonable precaution in selecting and using AI service providers — including restricting our use to providers that do not train their own models on client data, as described at the top of this policy — we cannot guarantee the actions of any third-party AI provider.

By authorizing the use of AI tools under this policy, the client acknowledges and agrees that Caret Growth Strategies shall not be held liable for any data breach, unauthorized access, misuse, or other incident arising from the actions of a third-party AI provider, including but not limited to situations where such a provider misrepresents its data handling practices (for example, using client data to train its models despite assurances to the contrary).

Caret Growth Strategies' sole responsibility in such cases shall be to promptly notify the client of any known or suspected incident and to take commercially reasonable steps to discontinue use of the affected provider.

Opting Out of AI Usage

If you wish to opt out of any AI usage related to your account or engagement, please reach out to your primary contact at Caret Growth Strategies to confirm the request. Once confirmed, we will update our internal processes and ensure that AI tools are not used for your work going forward.

Please note that opting out may affect the speed, format, or cost of certain deliverables, and we will discuss any such trade-offs with you before changes take effect.
